I’m Cristine Wekenborg and Travel Designer & Tour Consultant at Sinclairs Africa. In 2018, I probably made the biggest decision of my life and emigrated from Northern Germany to Cape Town. Since then, I love discovering Southern Africa and sharing it with other people.

Adventure away from the mainstream
How about a tour off the beaten track? Camping in the Karoo, sundowner at Lake Malawi or safari in Limpopo – I’d love to show you my favourite places off the beaten track that you won’t soon forget.

Camping and Low Budget Trips
Travelling in Africa doesn’t always have to be expensive. How about a camping tour through Namibia and Botswana – sitting comfortably by the campfire in the evening and falling asleep under the stars. I am also happy to help you with other trips on a small budget.

On foot on the road
Only where you have been on foot have you really been (Goethe). One of my greatest passions is hiking. I would be happy to show you my favourite hiking trails around Cape Town or multi–day hikes in southern Africa, such as the Otter Trail or the Fish River Canyon Trail.

Extraordinary
Abseiling from Table Mountain, scuba diving with seals, sleeping under the
stars in Namibia or waking up next to elephants in Botswana. A lot is possible in Africa. Let me know your crazy travel ideas, I’m sure we’ll find a way.
